What exactly is measured
Gross Enrolment Ratio in higher education: students enrolled in higher education as a share of all Indians aged 18–23, from the Ministry of Education's All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE). Every year shown uses the population projection based on the 2011 Census as currently revised, so figures for earlier years are lower than those first published.
