What exactly is measured

Dropout rate at the secondary stage (classes 9 to 12, the NEP 2020 school structure), boys and girls together, from UDISE+. UDISE+ has collected student-wise data since 2022-23; the ministry says figures from 2022-23 on are comparable with each other but not with reports up to 2021-22, so earlier years are not shown.
