What exactly is measured
Year-on-year growth in real gross value added by agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishing, by quarter of the financial year, at constant 2022-23 prices. Quarterly farm output is estimated from crop advance estimates and livestock and fisheries data, so it is revised as harvests are counted. The latest quarter is a first estimate.
