Infant mortality by state

Infant deaths per 1,000 live births, 2024, Sample Registration System. For the eight smaller states (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura) and the six UTs the figure is the 2022-24 average, because their samples are small; the 2023 comparison is shown for the bigger states only.
